The first word I learned to say is guaita. My paternal grandmother would take me for a walk in the trolley, and as we wandered around she would point at things with her finger and say: “Guaita Laia, guaita!”. She spoke a particular Catalan, she was the daughter of Vallcarca. She said guaita instead of mira (look at). Guaitar means to watch carefully, analysing what is observed. Vigilant.

Jo guaito – I analyse what I vigil carefully.

A choose-your-own-adventure collectively interactive story lived by the audience (+700k people participating live on Facebook) through a girl's smartphone. Her social media activity reveals mistreatment in her relationship, confronting the audience into the relevance of decision-making and influences at a young age. We adapted the script to nowadays teen's vocabulary, and we designed everything with the default tools given by the main social media platforms.

‘I Block You’ ended up being shown at schools, to open a debate about privacy and the effects of an uncritical use of social media in our lives and relationships.
